Ken Skoda, born in Calgary, Canada in 1961, started creating
with oil paints when he was 18 yrs old, and has never stopped.
Ken tutored under Kurt Hahn in Calgary and was inspired by Lorne
D Adams. Skoda gained recognition by winning the 1991 Calgary
real estate board's art competition. Ken's submission of "High
and Mighty" sold for final bid of $4000.00 at a Calgary Stampde
art auction. In 1996 the Bradford Exchange made a 4 plate Orca
whale panarama of Ken's painting "Secret Passage".
Ken currently resides in British Columbia, where he paints inspirational
paintings in and around the Howe Sound and Britannia Beach area.
The owners (Rudy & Sue) of The CRS Trading Post are pleased
to feature Ken Skoda and his wonderful art in our gallery and
web store.
